At Beauty Fair 2024, Nexxus made waves by introducing its innovative Keraphix line, specifically designed for damaged hair. The highlight of the event was the Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo, offering professional-grade hair treatment that focuses on restoring essential proteins for healthier, stronger hair.
Based on the science that hair is composed of 90% keratin protein, the Keraphix line was developed to repair deep damage caused by chemical treatments and heat styling, such as bleaching and flat ironing. During the demonstration, Nexxus showcased the impact of such damage on hair, which leads to significant protein loss and weakened hair strands.
Nexxus used a visual technique with a protein indicator to show the difference between healthy and damaged hair. The virgin hair, even after being washed with regular shampoo, did not show any protein loss. On the other hand, the damaged hair, subjected to aggressive treatments, lost a substantial amount of protein during washing.
Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo is designed to tackle this issue by reconstructing the hair from the first wash, thanks to its ProteinFusion formula, which combines keratin and black rice. This formula helps restore damaged hair fibers and seals the cuticles, preventing further protein loss and revitalizing the hair’s strength and vitality.
The Keraphix line, which also includes conditioner and a hair mask, offers a complete solution for restoring hair health. The live demonstration proved the product’s effectiveness, reaffirming Nexxus’ commitment to professional results and advanced hair care.
